Photo Freedom Day One

Today is the first day of the rest of my scrapbooking like. I have started a class at Big Picture Classes called Finding Photo Freedom with Stacy Julian . I can already tell that I will get so much from this class. I will be able to organize my photos so that when I find the time to be creative I will be able to make the most of it. My assignment for this week is to start "valuing" my old photos and putting them into storage. I will post more photos later.

SNOW DAY!!!

What is the perfect way to pass a snow day? Well eating yummy food, writing blogs, scrapbooking, and curling up with a good book by the fire of course!

Oklahoma is expecting a massive snow storm for tomorrow. I don't think it is going to end up being as bad as they say, but it was enough for my school to call it a snow day for tomorrow!

This is the yummy breakfast I will be making in the morning...

Yummy homemade oatmeal.

1/2 banana
1/2 c. Vanilla almond milk
1/4 cup oats
Cook together until a thick consistency.

Top with the other 1/2 of the banana
1 T Peanut butter
1 T mini chocolate chips
Dash of cinnamon

I can't wait to catch up on some family time by the fire!

Stay warm!

Abandonment...

Oh my how I have abandoned this blog! I got super busy last semester with my FINAL class for my master's degree. WOO HOO! I am finally done. I didn't think I would ever get here, but now that I am I am loving all the free time I keep finding.

This past Saturday I hosted the girls for scrap day. I didn't get as much done as I normally do, but I LOVE what I did accomplish...

This is my weight loss jar. Jason has agreed to pay me $5 for every pound I lose! There is already 15 dollars in it!  Yay me!

This is my sweet little sheriff in town...
This is the Christmas tree on Jase's first Christmas.

This is my vision collage. I am a member of SparkPeople and part of your journey is to put together a vision collage. My vision collage not only talks about my desire to lose weight, but also my dream of building my dream house and saving money to travel.

I hope you all will forgive me and I look forward to making many more posts soon!

Day 1 Trip Out West

I wish I could tell you about all of the wonderful shopping and sightseeing we did on this day...but then I would be lying! We arrived at the OKC airport at 5:30 in the AM. Our plane took off for Denver at 7:30.

We arrived in Denver and we were supposed to fly out at 11:30, but SURPRISE SURPRISE our flight was not delayed...but CANCELED!!! We stood in line at the customer service desk for a good hour to hour and a half to find out we would be leaving on a flight to Jackson at 7:30 PM. That means we would be stuck in the Denver airport for 12 hours! (With a 1 year old in tow)

We found time to shop...eat...read some magazines and catch up on the latest celebrity gossip...eat...walk...eat ice cream...run around on the moving sidewalks...and meet some interesting new people from Alabama. Jase decided he can be friends with anyone! :)

I will edit this post later with pictures of Jase on his first airplane ride as soon as I get some from Uncle Shelby. Check back tomorrow for Day 2 of our Western adventure!

Busy days...

We are back from vacation! We had an amazing time.

The last few days have been super busy with me trying to get my new classroom ready. I start back to work on Monday and he kids will be back Wednesday. I am excited and nervous all at the same time.

I got all of my vacation pictures edited and I can't wait to share them with you over the next few days, but first here is a small teaser.

We went to the Bar J ranch for a real chuck wagon dinner.

We had a guided safari through the Tetons and Yellowstone.

And we went to Cody to the Rodeo!

Come back for more!

XOXO
