Boys and Their Toys...

These are my 2 most favorite boys in the world. One just graduated from law school the other just started counting to three. One thing they have in common? They both love their toys! With a specific one in particuar...

This is my husband's latest toy. It was his graduation present to himself. (I tend to love it too, but don't tell him that.) He was so excited to get this car, a 1975 stingray, except he knew he wanted new wheels. Well, these said wheels finally showed up on our door step this week, and he took a much needed break from hours of studying for the BAR exam to put them on.

This is where little Jase decides that he is a big boy and he volunteers himself to be Daddy's little grease monkey. I did not complain because let's face it I like to drive the cars not get dirty changing wheels...it has to be the priss in me. :)

He helped his daddy by rolling the tires where they needed to go. They were almost as big as he is, but he seemed to manage it just fine!

Then he made sure daddy had all the right tools. This is where he was handing daddy the tire iron that narrowly missed mommy's foot :)

He helped dad by making sure all the lug nuts were tightened correctly..."just one more turn daddy!"

Then it was time to take her for a test drive!

We had fun helping dad and we hope you had fun reading about it! Leave us a comment!

Michael Buble

I LOVE HIM!!!! His music is amazing and he is the best entertainer ever! If you ever get a chance to see him I totally recommend it! I was lucky enough to land front row seats to his concert in Tulsa and these are a few of my favorite pictures I got from the night.

Myself and Katie looking HOTT!
Party Pic!!!
"Oh! Michael I can't I am married!"
On the front row of the concert...we sat next to a really nice family from Tulsa! They bid on 16 tickets total just to make sure they got the best seats. We were really lucky to get the seats we did.
This is the group Naturally 7. The are a vocal play group. They sing A Capella and all of the "instruments" you hear are actually made with their voices. It is amazing!
...and here he is...the man himself...MICHAEL!!!!
I love this shot of Michael with the piano. He sat right in front of us and sang several songs. We were in heaven on Earth!
This could be my favorite shot of the night.
A shot of me with Michael in the background...just so I can prove that I was really that close!
A really good shot of the stage.
...and last but certainly not least...Michael singing my favorite song..."Feelin' Good" We certainly felt good after this amazing night!

Thank you for stopping by...I hope you enjoyed the eye candy! Leave a comment!

Busy Fun!!!

This has been a very fun and busy week so expect some really good posts this weekend! ;)

I loved my Girl's Scrappy Day this time at Amy's house. The girls and I have decided to start a weight loss competition between each other and the person who has lost the most body weight percentage wins 100 dollars! I am super excited to start this and can't wait to see how everyone rocks it! I got some really cute layouts done and I promised pictures so here they are!

These were so fun to make and I love being able to work out my stress creatively.

Tuesday, My best friend Katie and I drove to Tulsa to see Michael Buble at the BOK center. We had front row tickets and it was amazing. Come back soon for a detailed post about our adventure and some really great pics!

Come back to see what else is up my sleeve!

Summer Time....

...and the living is easy!
Wednesday is my new favorite day of the week. We all get together as a family and have dinner at Kiki's house. This Wednesday we decided Jase needed to have his first water sprinkler experience.

It was all fun and games until that stupid little flower shot him with water in the face...

Then it was time to put your dukes up! (This little boy has my <3)

Have I mentioned lately that my little boy is a little prissy? He could not stand the wet grass on his feet. At one point his Kiki tried to pick him up and place him next to the sprinkler and the little turkey wouldn't put his feet down! :)

We had an amazing time watching the innocence and wonder of a child. I am so blessed.

Thank you Kiki for my Sprinkler and sidewalk chalk! I love you!

...and in case I haven't made it clear enough...I love this boy!

Sore Already!

I have been busting hump all day! I am packing my room of massive stuff so I can get out of Jennifer's way. I wish I would have gotten hired back at Chickasha, but with the Economy the way it is these days they couldn't afford to renew my contract :(

I have interviewed in Ninnekah, and I am currently waiting on a phone call from the principal with a yay or nay! I a really excited about the possibilities and I can't wait to hear from him! I am going to be on pins and needles until I hear from him. Wish me luck!

I am going to leave you with a photo...

I love this little boy!

Enjoy your evening!

Only Crazy People Do This!!!

First of all, I need to apologize for my absence as of late. I have been so busy finishing final projects, taking my final exams, planning a graduation party, and cleaning up my classroom so I can move that I have not had any time to update my blog at all. I hope the pictures I have taken this weekend will make up for that!

A question...Who wakes up at 6:00am to go on a 6 mile hike on their first day of summer vacation? Only crazy people that's who! Well then, you know it was me! :) Saturday my womens' bible study group decided to hike a trail in the Wichita Mountains, (a 6 mile trail) and go out to eat afterward. It was an absolute blast. I am definitely paying for it today with my sore body, but it is amazing the hidden beauty in this world. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

This is my beautiful mother who did an amazing job!!

These are the wonderful ladies who braved my complaining! :)

This is my determined face...

My favorite wild flower we saw.

An Indian Paintbrush Oklahoma's state flower!

A beautiful field of yellow wild flowers, and my ugly mug :)

Mr. Butterfly landed just for me! I had been waiting on one to land for several miles. He was very patient and let me get very close to take his picture.

I love the movement of the water in this picture...I think my photography is coming along!

On May 16th Jason graduated from OCU with his Juris Doctorate Degree! That means he has a law degree! Finally woo hoo!!! I was so proud of him as he marched across the stage to get choked by a professor with his hood :)

We are so proud of him!

Hopefully I will be able to update this blog a lot more frequently now that school is out for the summer! I can not wait to cook my new recipes and take photos to post. Thanks for stopping by and leave me a comment!
